Terms of Service

Stilopad is a digital writing and planning workspace providing browser and mobile editing, local document storage, templates, imports and exports, shared sessions with live cursors and chat, and optional audio/video calls. Features may change as the product develops.

You keep ownership of the writing, drawings, images, PDFs, messages, and other material you add. You grant Stilopad the limited permission needed to process content only to provide features you choose, such as a shared session, export, or connected-file operation. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions to use that material and for anything you publish to a shared session. Keep an independent copy of important work; local storage, synchronization, and exports are not guaranteed permanent archives.

A session link can allow anyone who has it to join, view, edit, chat, or call according to the session controls. Do not post private links publicly. Hosts are responsible for inviting people and moderating their session. Session state may be temporarily held by our realtime infrastructure so participants can receive the same updates.

Audio and video calls use peer-to-peer browser or mobile technologies where available. You must obtain consent before recording, retransmitting, or sharing another person’s voice, image, or messages. Call quality depends on devices, browsers, networks, and third-party relay infrastructure.

You may not use Stilopad for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, harassing, malicious, or privacy-invasive activity; to distribute malware or sexual content involving minors; to impersonate people; to probe or overload the service; or to circumvent access controls. We may limit or end access to protect people, the service, or our legal rights.

Optional integrations can include Cloudflare hosting and realtime delivery, Klipy GIF search, Firebase Analytics, Google identity and Drive file access, and device or operating-system sharing features. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply. Connecting a service authorizes only the scopes shown in its consent screen, and you may revoke that access. Stilopad does not endorse third-party content returned by a search provider.

Stilopad is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation, perfect recognition, error-free exports, compatibility with every file, successful third-party synchronization, or permanent retention of shared-session data. Use an independent copy for important documents.
