Your controls

Export, disconnect, or delete your data.

Your notebook should remain under your control. These steps explain where Stilopad data can exist and how to remove each copy.

Last updated September 2, 2026

Local notebooks and files

Delete an individual notebook from the Stilopad library. To remove every browser copy, use your browser’s site-data controls for stilopad.com. On mobile, delete notebooks in the app or clear the app’s storage through the operating system. Export anything you want to keep first.

Google Drive files and access

Disconnect Google from Stilopad’s connected-services control when available, then visit Google Account connections to revoke Stilopad’s authorization. Revocation stops future access but does not itself delete files already saved in Drive.

Delete visible Stilopad files from Google Drive using Drive’s interface. App-specific configuration can be removed by deleting Stilopad’s hidden app data or removing the app connection where Google provides that control. Reconnect only if you want Stilopad to access selected files again.

Shared sessions and calls

Leave or end a session to stop sending live edits, presence, chat, and call signaling. Ending a peer-to-peer call stops camera and microphone tracks. Other participants may retain copies they deliberately saved, so ask them directly if those copies should also be deleted.

Analytics and support records

Analytics is designed around aggregate product events rather than notebook contents. For a privacy request involving support correspondence, service records, or identifiers that Stilopad can reasonably associate with you, email contact@stilopad.com. We may need to verify the request before acting.

Export and response

Use Stilopad’s export controls to save an editable .stilopad file, PDF, or image where available. We respond to valid privacy requests in accordance with applicable law and may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or establishing legal claims.
